Man, watching this LSU vs Louisiana Tech game at HALFTIME has me absolutely frustrated with what I’m seeing on the field. Our offense is playing like they’ve never seen a football before, and I can’t wrap my head around what’s happening out there.
LSU came into this game as heavy favorites against Louisiana Tech, and here we are at HALFTIME looking completely lost on the offensive side of the ball. The play calling has been predictable, the execution has been sloppy, and we’re making Louisiana Tech’s defense look like they’re the SEC powerhouse, not us. This is embarrassing to watch as an LSU fan.
Our quarterback can’t seem to find any rhythm whatsoever. Every time he drops back, it’s like he’s seeing ghosts. The offensive line that we’ve been praising all season suddenly looks like they’re playing their first game together. Louisiana Tech is getting pressure with just their front four, and that’s unacceptable for a team with LSU’s talent level.

The running game, which should be our bread and butter against a smaller school like Louisiana Tech, has been completely shut down. We’re averaging maybe two yards per carry if we’re lucky. Our backs are getting hit behind the line of scrimmage on nearly every play. How are we not adjusting at HALFTIME to fix these glaring issues?
What’s really killing me is the dropped passes. We’ve had at least four catchable balls that have just bounced off our receivers’ hands. These aren’t difficult catches against Louisiana Tech’s secondary – these are routine plays that high school players would make. The concentration just isn’t there, and it’s showing in the HALFTIME score.
Our red zone efficiency is absolutely atrocious. We’ve been inside the 20-yard line twice and came away with just three points total. Against Louisiana Tech! This isn’t Alabama or Georgia we’re playing here. The play calling gets way too conservative when we get close to the goal line, and it’s like we forget everything that got us down there in the first place.

I’m hoping the coaches are absolutely laying into them in the locker room at HALFTIME because this performance is unacceptable. We need to come out in the second half with a completely different energy and execution level. LSU vs Louisiana Tech should not be this close, and our offense needs to wake up NOW.
